The other morning Mrs. Ed asked me to warsh her vehicle. It was pretty dirty so I headed south to Quick Quack on 50th and Flint. I like to vacuum first so I pulled next to a navy Chevy Trailblazer. The first thing I noticed was an expired inspection sticker and vehicle registration. Again, just plane laziness because they expired in July. I guess the delay in basic vehicle ownership compliace could be chalked up to the recent volatility in the market but whatever.
I then noticed that the woman who was driving the Trailblazer had two kids with her. Two girls....wearing football pants with pads. They were obviously going to a Little League Football game. I am sorry, but I am NOT onboard with girls playing football. Period. There are a few absolutes and that is one of top five. Now that I think about it more, the Trailblazer was dirty when it was at Quick Quack so it had not been warshed. I don't recall ever seeing it enter the facilty. Were they stealing vacuum service?
BYE BYE DISH NETWORK. After seven years of being a loyal Dish Network customer I switched to AT&T U-Verse. Greg came and installed my new Intercom and TV service. I am still learning the new system and new channel lineups but so far so good. I just had finally gotten beaten into submission when I would lose satellite signal every damn time it rained. Plus I got tired of waiting for the local channels to become availble in High Def over the local dish. The currently available SD locals available over the Dish look terrible. Service was an additional issues also. I got tired of being on the hook for service calls. I considered adding an antenna for local High Def signals but this option is more appealling. As an unexpected and added bonues, the Intercom Router is WIRELESS so I can dump my wireless router. So if anyone needs a slighltly used Linksys 54G Wireless Intercom Router with SpeedBooster I have one and will share it for a fee. Maybe I could start a website called "Cousin Ed's List"?
Tom Petty is 58 as of yesterday. Amazing.
Stay tuned for Cousin Ed's review of the this new service.

I have spent the last two Friday nights in Meadow watching 6-man football... and although I realize this is not your preferred team, I still thought of you as I screamed my lungs out from the sidelines (Go Broncos!) and perused the confession stand.
When not lucky enough to be at the game, I listen here:
High Plains Radio Network
Actually -- one Thurday night (JV) and one Friday night. Last Friday's game was at Ropes, of course.
Sigh -- Ropes. The Broncos second loss of the season... GRATE game though. Edge of your seat, "this is what high school football is supposed to be like" grate. Were you at the game?
